Ok, now I'm a nice guy, and I believe that killing is bad.  I also know
that god said something like "Thou shalt not murder."

Now here's what makes me angry.  God says, "thou shall not murder,"
however he commands Joshua and his armies to kill countless women and
children.  NOW WAIT A SECOND?!!!  PREGNANT WOMEN!

NO, WAIT A SECOND, LET'S COMMITT GENOCIDE ON THE PEOPLE'S WHO LIVE IN
THE PROMISED LAND!

Now, wait a second, (this is a dangerous thing to say), people say the
holocaust was bad (of course it was bad, people dying etc.), but the
Jewish (Israeli) god told the Israeli people to committ genocide on the
people's who lived in the promised land.  (I always think of this as
something separate and not really connected with my argument).  Now,
the Christian belief is that killing is bad right?  But there is so
much killing in the old testament, WHERE ALL OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE
CHRISTIAN GOD EXISTS.  The Christian god is nothing like what we are
told god is like.  Now, Elijah right?  He's supposed to be a pretty
good guy in God's eyes.  (I can't remember the story exactly), but
doesn't he burn up 50 people just because they insult him?  Isn't this
Murder?  Didn't David just kill people on the spot because they did
something wrong in his eyes?  Murder?  None of this stuff is thought of
as wrong by god.  It is considered just.  Lies, I believe that it is
lies.
