Very interesting!1 That meaning of the word "day" could make a difference with one's understanding of Luke 23:43 which reads: And he said to him, "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise." I know that some like to pick and choose the meaning of a word. If they want to believe that in one verse in scripture "day" means "day" they read it as "day". But, if they don't like the word "day" in another verse of scripture they find a way to make it read like they want to read it. But, I kind of like a day in Genesis and Luke to be about 24 hours long. I kind of like a week being seven days rather than seven years. I know that I am a patient laid-back liberal, but I am somewhat conservative when it comes to time. ((( s.r.c.b-s is a moderated group.
