MC> I know from previous experence about Groton, CT..
Terrible.
MC> I used to ride one of those nuclear subs in the late 70's-mid 80's...
It was funny.. all the crew gets to tour a nuke, except the Brits on the
tour. They had to wait on the dock for the rest to finish the tour.
MC> Where did you play ? do you recall ??
Don't recall. It was on base, and it was a big open area that they build a
proper stage on, and we played there. I remember the entire crew was
sailors. The guy helping me was an officer, so it was fun bossing him
around. I even talked him into hitting the PX for me to get some cheap cigs.
(2 cartons of Marlboro 100's, please, and make it snappy, torpedo boy!)
Actually, the guys were a pretty good crew. Better than some we
had elsewhere on the tour. One of the Shore Patrol guys even got me a
t-shirt.

... Why would I want to look at the Docs? Nurses are better.
