I know what you mean. When I was in the third grade, my teacher had a
yard stick. It was the first yard stick I had ever seen used to measure
with. It was the yard stick that my teacher used to teach us what was a
yard, a foot and and inch. I knew that was the most accurate yard stick
that there ever was.
