I ran EMX v0.9a and b on a 486/66 with 8 megs with no problem. I was
only using C, not C++.
A tip: run gcc at idle time priority, this way the system will be
more responsive while it is busy compiling. I use a program called
priority.exe from fmutils.zip to start cmd.exe at priority 1 0, then do
all my compiling from that process.
I also ran cmd.exe as my WPS instead of PMSHELL.EXE
SET RUNWORKPLACE=C:\OS2\CMD.EXE, this makes Warp FLY in 8 megs!
Of course, more memory helps, but it will work.
