Barbara, It seems you have a miss conception of what teaching is. It
is not waiting for the last bell of the day to make a mad dash for home,
but the drive to reach the little darlings with the lessons of the day.
Hard, yes. Possible, yes. Necessary, yes. Not all of us are cut out
to be a cross between a security guard and a teen councilor while trying
to do the job we are paid for - teaching. I admit they have an attitude
It is precisely that attitude that I love in them. The only way to
handle it is to have a bigger attitude than they do, which I have! I
congradulate you on getting out because it is not for everyone. At the
same time, say a few prayers for those of us that are still in the
trenches.
