You really do not have a problem with Qmodem. You have a problem with your
understanding of how BBS echoes work. First of all, if you can read the
message of interest, your friend should also be able to read it. There
really is no need to "Forward" the message to him--within the same echo.
It would be better if you would enter a new message calling your friend's
attention to it.
If you are attempting to forward the message to a different echo, then you
are not handling the other echo name properly.
BTW, the next message in this echo, although not an exact duplicate, is
essentially the same message as this one.
