A rather small outfit called Robelle Consulting wrote a text editor for the
HP 3000 minicomputer back in the 1970s. It was a hybrid page mode/character
mode editor and rather klunky.
In fact, I avoided using Semware's Qedit for quite sometime because I
presumed it was a PC implementation of a minicomputer editor I never cared
much
for.
Changing the name will be a little tough, but in the long run I think it
will improve Semware's marketing identity.
My 3.14 cents worth.
