Yes, I have C & Z as hpfs & D,E,F as JFS.

Be sure to read the different options for running jfs.ifs.

Also, I just noticed that I have jfs loading before hpfs.  I had it
other way around, hpfs first and I am guessing the recent jfs patch
I applied turned it around for me.  Because I have jfs.ifs on a
hpfs drive, if I have a crash, when starting up the jfs partitions
may fail to load because they will not be able to run jfschk32
because the chkdsk for hpfs has not run first.  That would mean
rebooting after the hpfs chkdsk is run.  I'll turn this back around
and load hpfs.ifs first.  Maybe a more knowledgable person can
comment on this.

I run vpc on a jfs drive.  No problems in the several years I have
done it.
