I have such a beast, but setting the printer to NLQ 12 is one task, copying
or printing the file to the printer is the next task. Since printing the
file is a separate task, OS/2 resets the printer to the default type face
between the two tasks.

Is possible, send some escape code to the printer, followed by the file to
be printed. Unfortunately the OS/2 commandline does not expand wildcards,
however wildcards can be solved by findfirst and findnext.
