I'm going to mention "Brazil" again as every time that sort of thing comes
up it remind me of the terminals in that movie, they must have had a 4"
Crt with a 12" fresnel magnifier.

last time I saw a fresnel lens it was attached to the back window of a
minivan and was concave not convex (and thefore dispersing instead of
magifying)
