I have a dialogue window that has a number of buttons on it. I want each of them to be a different DragDrop target. I have got the Drop working but only when I am over the 'background' area of the dialogue window. When the cursor passes over the buttons it changes to the 'nodrop' icon. I know the actual drop code works but only when I drop on the background. How can I catch the DM_DRAGOVER when it is over a control or child window of a dialogue window so that I can return DOR_DROP for that button and not just for the background? I seem to be unable to find any documentation on this and just to get where I now am has taken a week of detective work. Any help appreciated.
