subject: Internal processing error

Hello Klaus!

KM> The system detected an internal processing error

I suspect this address is invalid. I don't know what IBM thought, but OS/2
trap screen info usually presents the address of register dump procedure
here (trap$_FormatRegisters or something near). You should look at cs:eip
values to know exactly trap address.

Try to fix your OS/2 with some fixpack, I recommend #17. It turns OS/2 into
internal revision 8.241

KM> I don't have *any* idea what it was that the kernel couldn't do (not

Me too :-) I haven't seen your cs:eip

KM> There have been suggestions that there is a OS2KRNL.MAP or OS2KRNL.SYM

These files (and a lot of other stuff) can be found on DevCon CDROMs.

KM> Any comments and/or hints would be greatly appreciated.

Find DevCon, get OS2KRNLR.SYM[.MAP] (I guess you run retail kernal
version), and try to locate the problem.

Bye!
