Hi again, James! Recently you wrote in a message to All:
JB> I just scared the bejeabers outa a kid this holloween.
JB> 119 kids this year. An old next-door counted 175 one
JB> year, and dad tells me we hit over 200 once, but I've

JB> fishing.
Good grief! We typically get 20 or 30.... :-)
JB> See you folks in a few. I'm half caught up, and my
JB> proofreading is as confused as before.
Uh-huh. Despite what you may be hearing on the radio & TV
these days, it's "Hallowe-en" or "Hallowe'en" or
"Halloween" as in "All Hallows' Eve". It's not
"hollow" like a Jack-o'-lantern. I couldn't let that pass, but
I'll forgive you because you're catching up & because you posted on Guy
Fawkes' Day.... :-))
JB> This has been a test. If I had really been tested, I'd
JB> be dead a long time ago. Take care, and I'll give you
JB> more of a bomastic opinion in a few.
I'm looking forward to it.... :-) :-) :-)
JB> Ardith:
JB> And you thought you were going to get dumped that easy?
JB> Maybe you're *not* as bright as I expected. O-8*
When I didn't see you in any of your usual haunts, I guessed that
your Fido machine had given up the ghost or somebody got spooked &
dragged you off to the hospital. Neither would be particularly unusual
around here.... ;-)
JB> Send a search party if I go MIA for another six months.
Noted. If there is a next time, I'll ask your SysOp about it.... :-)
