1237db9f2791 tech Hello Mike - RJT>> Huh? What the heck are you talking about here? CA>> Tailfins ala '59 Chevy etc. A useless appendage that CA>> actually could lift the Chevy rear wheels off the road at CA>> around 100mph. MR> There's a rash of "me-too" cars with spoiler wings over the MR> rear trunks. The trouble is they can never have any effect MR> at US 55 mph or 100km/h up here in Canada. Every time I see MR> a car with those ridiculously little mini-wings on the road MR> I exclaim, "another car that can't fly". ;-) BTW the damn MR> things are just a nuisance when brooming off snow and ice. I think that was originated on the Chapparal race cars then moved to the 'rail job' dragsters? The funniest of all were the Chryslers with extended nose and a very high spoiler that they were required to sell to get a 'production' vehicle classification for when they raced them. I was astonished that people bought these and drove them around town (in Michigan). > > , , > o/ Charles.Angelich \o , > __o/ > / > USA, MI < \ __\__ --- * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ...
