You and your friend are probably right. If that particular bird was not
for sale or was for sale at a higher price then he should have said so
immediately. There are times that I have a bird that I have decided to
hold back for breeding and decide not to sell. Sometimes this gets
tricky when someone wants to buy it. I have to say Sorry, that one is
not for sale.
Sounds like this guy is not really ethical or there was some

Probably a peach fronted conure. These can be loud. I just sold two out
of the nest this week.
Any idea on the sex of this one? I have an extra male. Are you going to
keep it or do the future trading  thing if he/she doesn't work out?
