Yes, it is, and I've noticed that some of the newer DOS programs that
I've tried don't seen to support F3, anymore. Since PKLITE worked on the
above, I'm guessing there's 'something funny' about the way that the
newer code terminates, or loads (and/or a possible side-effect of
COMMAND.COM loading in the top of conventional memory).

That's for sure; I'm really sorry to hear that Allan's 'put it on the
back burner'. Maybe he's getting tired of trying to deal with LFN's (an
odious task, to say the least)? I would've liked to have seen an option
to report compare errors only, to the console. I might send him an
email, supporting the above stance, but I imagine he's already tired of
hearing from disappointed users.

And losing sight of the 'bigger picture', in the process (again,
typical). I don't do Win32 programming, but I would've thought that
there'd be a 'clear cache' or 'invalidate cache' type of call, to VCACHE
(or, something along those lines). If there was, I'd guess that writing
the program would be relatively easy.
