Well, if you can't key Alt 230 to get the correct micro character that
is the next best thing. In my case I hold the right Alt-key while at the
same time keying 2 3 0 on the numerical keyboard.

The code for the micro sign is different in Windows.

If you mean high ASCII yes, it's also callec PC8 or IBM PC8 and the code
table is cp 437.
