 When 3/4 of the U.S. goes without direct TV reception,
 what do you imagine the networks will do when their
 advertising revenue goes to hell?

 In fact, if the only method to receive HDTV will be via
 cable, why license TV stations at all and waste all of
 that spectrum?  Just send everything via Time-Warner,
 Cox and the other cable companies in the first place.
