| subject: | calling Windows prog from PM |
Hi Peyton, am 21.11.96 09:18 erz„hltest Du All PB> Can anyone provide hints, gotchas, etc. on to how to call a Windows PB> program from a Warp PM application? Is DosStartSession the right PB> direction? Yes. The other one is WinStartApp(). It seems more complex to fill out all the parameters than DosStartSession() but simplyfiesy the handling inside your PM program. At least you my use system(). All 3 ways are good to start any kind of application type. On the other hand you can't use an other API to start an application with different type. Inside a PM program I prefer WinStartApp(). It will (optionally) send a message WM_APPTERMINATENOTIFY if the started application ends to an window of my election.
