Yuppie?! Bloody hell, I asked for the *non* PnP version specifically and
still didn't get what I wanted!! :-)

According to my reading of the docs, you should be able to live without it
(the PnP manager) and still run the AWE32 on a different IRQ, but as I
don't run a braindead operating system or a tricky-dicky internal modem I
didn't bother pursuing the solution any further. :-) :-)
