I don't know about bullet weight, but I'd be pretty careful about using hot
loads. I shot some FN burp-gun ammo made in Spain in my P-38, & it blew
off the top disassembly cover. My gun is an alloy frame commercial model
made in '65. I would imagine you could get by with some Golden Sabre
Remington rounds, if it will feed hollow points. I'd be careful about
using even +P rounds.
