It was buu they have made amazing advanced in Capascitor design since
out High School days.
Today a 4 Farad capacitor measured about 9" x 4" x 4"
They are widely in super sound car audio syatems to provice thoucands of
watts of peak power for for the bass notes. As a side note that 4 Farad
cap can be purchased for about $60.00

 The Ham coununity picked up on the Idea to run 100 Watt HF rigs
form a autmobile cigarete lighter outlet.
As I recall MFJ has a unit in their catalog and I have seem them in Ham
Magazine ads also.
