| subject: | OWL menu problem |
I am having a problem with an OWL program I am writing that hopefully someone
can answer. Using BCOS2 2.0.
The problem is with the menu. Here is an excerpt from the Resource file
(I haven't shown the included headers but everything is defined with unique
values)
===clip===
MENU MNU_MAIN
BEGIN
SUBMENU "~File", MN_GAME
BEGIN
MENUITEM "~New...", MN_GAMENEW
MENUITEM "~Open...", MN_GAMEOPEN
MENUITEM SEPARATOR
MENUITEM "~Save...", MN_GAMESAVE
MENUITEM "Save ~as...", MN_GAMESAVEAS
MENUITEM SEPARATOR
MENUITEM "E~xit...", CM_EXIT
END
MENUITEM "~Attack", MN_ATTACK
SUBMENU "~Help", MN_HELP
BEGIN
MENUITEM "Help ~index...", MN_HELPINDEX
MENUITEM "~General help...", MN_HELPGENERAL
MENUITEM SEPARATOR
MENUITEM "~Product information...", MN_HELPABOUT
END
END
ACCELTABLE ACCEL_MAIN LOADONCALL MOVEABLE IMPURE
BEGIN
VK_F3, CM_EXIT, VIRTUALKEY
VK_RIGHT, MN_MOVERIGHT, VIRTUALKEY
VK_LEFT, MN_MOVELEFT, VIRTUALKEY
VK_UP, MN_MOVEUP, VIRTUALKEY
VK_DOWN, MN_MOVEDOWN, VIRTUALKEY
VK_ESCAPE, MN_REPAINT, VIRTUALKEY
END
===clip===
Now the problem. The menu works correctly *UNTIL* I hit a key on the keyboard
(any key), and then the two submenus and their items become dimmed, and can
no longer be selected with the mouse, though the accelerator keys do continue
to work (i.e. I can still hit F3 to exit), and the "Attack"
menuitem continues
to work correctly (doesn't get dimmed).
ideas?
