Christopher, you've gotta be one heck of a pack rat to wanna make 
something out of a CRT (Cathode Ray Tube).  The thing has had all of 
the air sucked out of it soz the filament won't have oxigen that would 
allow it to burn.  The thing implodes, which means the neck usually 
gets sucked into the tube and shoots out the front of the tube with 
tremdous force.  You won't have anything even if you are lucky in 
letting the air in.  You can't see into the thing because of the 
phosphorus coating around the tube. You have something that needs to 
find a hole  in your yard maybe and cover it with dirt and drive a iron 
rod into its innerds.  It ain't worth squat, and it is dangerous to 
even think about doing something with it!
