Not necesarily. You can gat a capacitor box designed to run a 100 Watt
rig off a 15 Amp supply. It is typically used when using the cigareete
lighter outlet in a car. Using the general rule of 10% transmitting and
90% listening the Capavitor box, Typically 4 FARAD, can supply the
current above 15 Amps during trasmitting.
