My ultimate goal is to one day own a system of such quality where
cables will make "an extraordiary difference". Then you know you are getting
close to where we are all trying to head. Ahhhhhhhhhh!

Nope, fini. No more "Tweek", although I cannot understand why, AND I
have but about a dozen drops left in my bottle. I always thought is was a
very
popular product. Guess not or they wouldn't have discontinued it. I am not
sure about the other "like Tweek" products out there. Most make the same
claims, so here I go again. One, although the name escapes me for the moment,
even claims that you can apply it, break the connect several times and return
it or move to a different piece of equipment, and it is just as effective.
I'll leave that one to the reviewers.
Have you seen/heard any of the Cinemapro amps? Listened to one for a
couple hours this weekend and A/B'd it with a big Parasound. Half the price
and actually slightly better reproduction than the Parasound pushing some big
Martin Logans. I must comment that the unit itself is "butt ugly", but very
sweet and seems to have all the power one would need. The way the story goes
is that the manufacturer has been building pro quality amps for theaters and
auditoriums for several years and is now venturing off into the consumer
market. I don't know the model number, but one look would suggest it begin
with "B.U.". Hell, there is their ad campaign.... "The blind date of high end
amplifiers is now available. You remember, very sweet sounding. Made you
smile
with anticipation. Then the door opens and there is your date/amp. Oh
No!!!!!!
It can't be! But it is....Butt Ugly.
Cheers, John
