BL> Yair... it confirms the other figures. Paul's line is a lot worse,

Poor old Bob, hasnt even managed to work out that Pauls line
isnt too bad at all, and that its Bills thats the worse line.

BL> and the USR is around 6dB higher (5dB in this
BL> case), and a further 2dB better at 3450 Hz.

Pity you havent even established that, and it appears thats likely crap.

BG> Pity that neither Paul nor Rod can see that though.

Coz its crap. Particularly on the silly claim at the top.

BG> They just continue to claim that the USR's figures are inaccurate.

Nope, I maintain that USR/USR figures are useful.

BL> It shows their inexperience.

Sure it does Bob. I have been doing measurements like
that far more than you have you silly old senile fart.

BL> Comparison meaurement is more meaningful than absolute values...
BL> unless you are running a Standards Laboratory.

Funny that when purporting to measure the line, changing from
a USR to a non USR changes the purported stats so dramatically.

In THOSE circumstances you really need to measure the
line with something else and see which of the two sets
of numbers is closer to what the line actually is.

BL> Measurements reflect reality, even when it seems
BL> to be wrong or do not suit your pet theory.

You dont even know that when the V34 standard means that the modem
is supposed to put a standardised test on the line, so you can see
what comes out the other end, so you can measure the line. If you
change one modem, get a radically different answer at the other end,
it cant actually be producing the standardised test cant it Bob ?

Poor old Bob.

Corse its dead bloody obvious you are just indulging in senile
mindless coat trailing after you ended up face down in the mud
AGAIN on every single bit of the modem testing you commented on.
