How in the world is someone supposed to read something that has been
omitted from a standard as part of it? If I wrote a law like that, my
employer would fire me.

It's not my idea of a way to spend a Christmas. Bob Satti gave me my RIN
status over a decade ago and I've gotten quite fond of it.
