 us an inferior TV set.  They saved $$$ and made more
 profit while we got a crappy TV picture.

 I have been trying to visulize the CBS system.  As I
 see it, the flying spot wheel would have to be twice
 the size of the picture tube.  Sounds like a humungous
 flywheel in the living room of every home, waiting to
 tear loose and go ripping through everything/everyone
 like a giant buzz saw.  

 I wrote a term paper in college on the CBS vs RCA-FCC
 lawsuit, but never saw a picture of the CBS system.
