Version 0.7 is buggy. Most people use the earlier one. I can't see
the number right now, but I think it's 0.65. I have found the
LXFTP program is much better. The Englke versions should never have
been published. Try timing up and down and you will see what I
mean. LXFTP is the same code base, just fixed.

Anyway, Mike Brutman's programs are very solid. We've done some
timing and it beats everything else for speed. It's even fast
on a PCjr! You'll probably want to try his other utilities as
well. I'm using the telnet program now and it works as well as
the *nix versions I have on other machines. And yes, I'm in
pure DOS just talking to a NIC.

Let me know if you can't find any of that stuff and we'll figure
out a way for me to shoot you some programs.
