I had ver 6.0 of this installed and then did install of the new 
Nov 1 version of 0.7.6.1.  It still works.

But, going to seamonkey/tools/mediaplayerconnect/configure/
contact, it still shows as version 6.0 installed.

Is just the way it is?? or have I just still got ver 6.0 installed?
There is no other way to know the install version, AFAIK.

Secondly, is it normal to install XPI's on top of prior versions?
Uninstall scripts seldom exist and my experience "manually" 
uninstalling have been disasterous.
