  Well you should try going to an authoritative source, rather than
  "someone said".  Try the Pros and Cons list :

  The default calling convention for MetaWare High C++ is, in fact, the
  "system" calling convention.  How anyone can call the
"system" calling
  convention "wierd", when it is the one used by the entire OS/2 system
  API, and is the single calling convention that is common to *ALL* OS/2
  C++ compilers, is beyond me.
