The main hassle many int. users have is not knowing what the modem is doing,
which can help in determing a fix for a problem, when it arises. A display
helps alot, plus the added benefit of replacing a modem with ease should it
break. For every plus a int. has the ext. hasn't and the same is true in
reverse. Even at the extra cost, I believe any ext. modem is more easier to
deal with than int., especially on an initial setup process, IMHO.
