God was evidently talking to the Word (Jesus). The Word (Jesus) was
like God- a spiritual being possessed of intelligence- as were all the
angels. God created man through the Word (Jesus) and made man in his
"image"- an intelligent creature endowed with free will- with God's
main attributes: love, justice, wisdom & power. There is absolutely NO
hint at any polytheism or pagan trinity here.
