HardCopy to WordPerfect Magazine
     We all knew this was coming, but I didn't think so
soon.  WordPerfect has now abandoned WordPerfect for
DOS newsletter and disk of the month.
     Since they had just switched from a magazine to a
newsletter, I thought surely it would run for a while.
But I just got my mail and in it is the June 1997 disk,
no newsletter; instead a letter telling me this is the
end.
     They will fill the subscriptions out with
WordPerfect for Windoze Magazine or newsletter and
disk.  No refunds.
     I have more than a year to go on my subscriptions,
so I'll take the Windoze crap, tho I don't know if it
will be helpful.  Since they won't give a refund (which
I'd rather have), I'll be darned if I'll just let them
keep my money for nothing.  I've been a loyal user and
reader too long to by treated that way.  I think it's a
pretty dirty trick!
     What do the rest of you DOS readers think?
