I've tried setting up LoRD 4.06+ on an EleBBS again (it was running fine
earlier this year and I got sick and took it down), but not I'm having
nothing but problems.  Don't know if it's LoRD or EleBBS.  But here goes:

No matter what I do, I cannot get LoRD 4.06 to load.  It loops, telling me
that either I have to call it with start.bat (which I'm already doing), or
I get an error that says it can't load an external program.  ??????

So I dropped back to 4.00.  But when you enter it, there seems to be a
key-bounce.  Anytime you put in a name for a character and hit enter, you
get "(Y)." a period appears as an answer, and it loops back to
(E)nter a name.

I'm running TradeWars 2002 and have no problems with it, so I know fossil
is loaded and everything else works fine.

Ideas?

Thanks-you can see for yourself by coming to my BBS and accessing the game
in the Doors menu.
