This is a _clear_ example of _blatant_ "eisegesis": a
theologically motivated
reading of Scripture, reading _into_ the words what is actually not there AT
ALL.

Of _course_ it was truly Moses and Elijah. Who else was Peter about to build a
tabernacle for? He proposed building the tabernacles because he actually _saw_
Moses and Elijah there.

Why are you assuming that the state of New Testament believers is the same as
that of deceased believers under the Old Testament?

Why is the answer to this not obvious? The need not only "would be", but
actually _is_ that the body be re-united with the soul. But the body reunited
with it is a spiritual body, not like the carnal body we know in this life.
