Good article, though I wish he wouldn't use the phrase "Judeo-Christian" 
when refering to a primarily Christian belief, especially when he goes on to 
say  "Kass voiced his frustration that the rabbis he spoke with just 
couldn't see what was so terrible about technologies that would extend life, 
health, and fertility."

Yes, you can find some Jewish sources that agree with him and it's true that 
Orthodox Judaism has been moving to the right over the past 20 years or so, 
but at the end of the day, some of the positions he decries are directly 
opposed to the principles behind Judaism.
