 Which brings up an Interesting point concerning SONY. 
They, Like Apple, Shot themselves in the Foot in the Beta/VHS war by
Rigidly striking to their NO discount edict for their Retail outlets.
They did have a superior system. And it was until the End of Beta, 
BUT the public mostly hesitated and went VHS before paying more for what
was the same to the typical Customer.                               

But of course the Rigid enforcement of Suggested Retail Prices is how
they got al that money to Gobble up as much of the Entertainment system
as they have.  :-) :-) :-)
