| subject: | x86 assembler for os/2 Wa |
Hello Tom! RS>> I don't like this. I frequently use 'record', 'high', 'low', RS>> 'purge', 'union', etc. in my programs and I think that assembler RS>> not supporting 'record' is not an assmbler. Morever, it cannot RS>> pretend even to be called 'assembler'. TT> As soon as it can translate mnemonic code into machine code, it's an TT> assembler. I ment 'de facto' extensions. WASM has no. RS>> So I use tasm, it's really nice, especially in ideal mode. TT> I use both WASM (when linking asm modules with Watcom C/C++) and TASM TT> (for standalone asm & linking with Borland C/C++). I use TASM only. Why should I bother myself with WASM? TASM produces .obj that WLINK can handles. So I never used WASM after I've tried it first time. Bye!
