 One big Problem .NONE of them really scaled ypup the Multi Mega KW
plants very well. We have a Gero Thremal Field in the
Califronia Imperial County area .Our own  san Diego Fan and Electric
dumped I don't know how many Hunderes of Milion Dollars of the Rate
Payers money into it ant it was a Dismal Failure. First the underground
very high mineral content of the Underground Brine Clogged and ate up
the pipas almsot as fast as they could be replaced. And also it is in a
Deseret and they had to pump millions of Gallons of Scarce Water, All of
this area of Southeren California is basicly a Deseret, back into the
Ground to keep the field Viable becaue recircualting the Brine just
complicated the prolbems with it..
 Wind also has provem to be a dismal Failure except i nvery limited
areas. First there is not enough Average Wind Power is most places for
and Large generating units. 
They are also a VERY high maintenance units and would require HUGE
taxpayer subsidities to privide Affordable power. 
And lastly for Solar. It is Rally not scalable up to any degeee except
to provide Minmual power to remore mountian Cabins. The conversio
nefficency is abismilaly low. That would requre more Land araa that is
really avaialble for anytonh of any size .Even the most promissing
project a large Mirror Consertrating Field with a Focal point a Solar
Boiler proved impractical.      
 Since we are running out of Fossil Fuels we have to face up to it. IT
is NUCLEAR power or a Massive Reduction, back to Third World conditions,
of the Living Standards of the Industrial Nations.
