Crap, I was commenting ONLY on the fact that you have to be
online for the value of the RECEIVED level to have any meaning.

I was making no comment on the setting of the transmit
level at all, because it can be changed offline.

Sure, its a confusing way to do it, particularly
sticking it on an information display type command.
