 Try "system commander". They advertise they give a "true dos"
 prompt from win 98.

 OTOH, put in a dos partition. I'm planning to do that with one
 of my old computers. I have an old scanner with nothing but win
 3.1 drivers. But I like it. It's a photo scanner drive. Easy
 photo. Requires an ISA slot, which is why I have to get my old
 computer back.
