This is just an observation...
 
But I've noticed that lately there seems to be more discussion about who is
or isn't PROG, what album is or isn't, what song is or isn't...
 
Come on...let's talk more about the artists and the songs.  If a band was
at any point in their career progressive, by any definition of the word, then
they are progressive period.  Any musician can change direction eventually,
just look at Genesis!  Very prime example...even Gabriel, too!
 
But they WERE progressive at one point, so I see no harm in discussing them
(or any other band: Queen, Styx, ELO, Rush, Yes, Pink Floyd, Camel, Be Bop
Delux, Sweet, whoever...)
 
All of these bands have had their progressive moments, and their pop moments,
it's a truly GREAT band that can pull off different styles of music, and do
it WELL...
 
Now THAT'S TRULY Progressive!
