I appreciated your comments greatly btw gotta watch my wording when I am 
writing after working such long days...component, composite serial. We are 
the sony broadcast dealer here in michigan. Hopefully we have started a good 
sub-echo here on non-linear editing since we all need to bone up on 
terminolgy for next months NAB. We always split up into teams and areas of 
"investigating" at NAB I'll probably end up in the computer area and tape 
machines since my speciallty is Betacam. We are trying to get the nite suite 
dealership since we have some end users who have interest in it. I think I 
heard someone say that it started at about 75k but I'm not sure about that. I 
have only seen advertsiements on the BTS system i think in BE. So maybe we'll 
check it out at nab. In response to the ? does newtek or anyone else ever 
misrepresent equipment well of course they do as we all well know video is a 
cut throat business. Speaking of old equipment I had the misfortune of having 
to fix a 
crosspointlatch 6112 switcher today. I had forgotten how bad there manuals 
where. Thanks for you reply though.
