   Darn! You are completely right. It was some years since I tried FPC, and it
had so many limitations, almost none of my BP programs compiled.

   But this Lazarus was really a positive surprise. It looks so like Delphi, I
immediately could use it. Only negative about it was the resulting size of the
program (even with all debug-info stripped), but that's not such a big deal.

   Thanks for the tip, I'll definitely try to use Lazarus rather than Delphi in
the future.
