Futility if you look at it..

Those in Z2 who want to regard Ward as the IC, can still utilise him for
it, in reality he would be doing so as their ZC..

Elsewhere, Malcolms talents would/could be sought, nothing anyone in Z2 could do..

It sounds like a nasty rift and it is..
