It may be just my bad luck, but there's been FAR less noise on 15 than there 
should be, with a 40m antenna.  Neighbors 2 and 3 blocks away are working DX 
like CRAZY, on simple 15m dipoles, yet I can't even HEAR the people they're 
working on my 40m antenna...  and it don't matter if it's broadside east-west 
or north-south...  same thing holds true every time!
