Bob et cie. will be the ones for the Official Advice on this one,
but personally I'd just let it go & not worry about it.  People
are used to seeing dupes occasionally & just take it in stride as a
"Fidobelch." When it keeps going for more than a day or so, or if
it's been a while since the user logged in (& therefore possibly the
first messages'd rolled out already & wouldn't get caught by the
software as dupes), then somebody might say something, but other
than that.... :)
